We’ve received a huge amount of queries regarding our cows diets following the recent announcement of the bovaer trial. We’d like to reassure our customers that we are not involved in these trials & have no intention of using bovaer or any similar additives. We’re proud to farm regeneratively & our cows diets consist of home grown herbal leys & grass silage when they are not out grazing. They also receive a blend consisting of rolled wheat, maize & barley for energy, mixed into their diets.
We work closely with our nutritionist, Will, and grow the majority of our cows diets here on the farm at Ferneley’s, making the milk and our products very easily traceable and grown with the environment in mind.
