Important - After recent press releases we wanted to let you know that we are NOT involved in any trial which uses a feed additive to help reduce cow methane emissions.

The good thing buying from farmers direct is we can tell you exactly how your milk is produced and share with you what we feed the girls! So here is the cows diet at the moment:-

• Grass silage

• Maize

• Fodder Beet

• Rolled Barley (2kg per cow per day)

• Blend (1.5kg per cow per day) blend consists of wheat distillers, rapeseed extract and nova pro(uk produced alternative to Soya)

• 3kg of cake in the parlour

• 
  

We work with a nutritionist to get a healthy balanced diet for the cows who visits the cows every 8 weeks to see how we are getting on with the ration.
