Lots of our customers have been asking if we add Bovaer® to the cow’s feed- we DO NOT !! We will never give this additive to our Jersey cows.

Here at Wheelbirks we are confident that our milk is CLEAN.

It is unpasteurised, unhomogenised fresh Jersey milk- you simply won’t find any milk like it in this area.

Our small herd of 20 cows are only milked once a day, they keep their calves with them (until they are weaned) and live long and contented lives.

All of these facts are sadly unusual for dairy farms. We are proud of our ethical farming practices and know that our customers are too. All our milk is sold from Wheelbirks Parlour, our cafe/ ice cream parlour/ farm shop which is situated on our beautiful farm. We also use the creamy milk to create delicious Jersey ice cream, which we make ourselves here on the farm. There are no food miles here whatsoever.
