In response to recent stories in the press regarding trials of a feed additive to reduce cow methane emissions, we have received a number of enquiries about whether we will be taking part in the Bovaer trial from our customers.
We can confirm that we are NOT involved in this trial and that our girls diet is approx. 95% homegrown (grazed grass in the Summer and silage in the Winter) with the remainder cereal based.
Our herds health & nutrition is our top priority and ensures that we produce the best quality milk and dairy products for you to enjoy
