We have had a few messages regarding the bovaer additive which has been in the news this week.
It’s not something that we use on our farm. As an Organic farm we have set rules we have to follow with regard to what we feed our cows and how we manage our land.
As many of our customers are aware our cows graze on our organic fields for a large portion of the year and during winter they are fed on homegrown organic feed. Our focus on sustainable organic farming

Do you sell Kefir and yogurt?
I will be travelling over to the farm tomorrow for some raw milk. My Tesco home delivery of their milk is a thing of the past.
What you should do is look into an online cutomer co-operative. We pre-order and pay for the milk online and then Bays Leap organises a twice a week delivery round to various pick-up points in the area. Could be pubs, shops, cafes… This works very successfully in the USA as Joel Salatino has found. He's in Virginia but gets his produce to California with this system.
The milk is sold before it leaves the farm so there's no wastage and Bays Leap Farm knows it's got the money. Think about it.
